How do the reviews work?
Positive Reviews
The
reviews and ratings of businesses are recommendations provided by real
customers. This not only gives us an indication of the quality the
business is providing, but also what their customers think and what
they liked about your business. Allowing customers to share particular
experiences with others not only acts as a tool to promote positive
aspects of your business, but also invites others along to experience
something similar. Reviews on Women’s Phone Book open up a unique forum
where the business not only has the opportunity to listen to the
consumer via reviews, but also where the consumers can communicate with
one another. Highest rated business will be showed first ahead of
non-rated businesses.
Negative Reviews

negative review needn’t tarnish your business forever! If a business is
receiving negative reviews we hope that this will encourage them to be
proactive, looking at their business closely and identifying
problematic areas to allow for change if necessary. A negative review
opens up the opportunity for the business to listen to an objective,

business will gain a highly rated seal if they are receiving overall
positive reviews from their customers, enabling their business and
reputation to grow faster and at an increasing rate. Positive reviews
can create instant credibility and will help your business reputation
grow faster as other women recommend you by online word of mouth to
friends and other consumers. A highly rated seal is achieved if the
customers reviews are more than 75% positive so the highly rated seal can be achieved even with a negative review.
Driving reviews to your listing
Ask
your favourite customers to rate you. Give them a Rate Me card, or
email them a request directly from the site. You will be incentivised
by Women’s Phone Book to encourage your customers to make ratings and
we will try to equip you with the tools to do so. Ratings help other
users make more informed decisions about where to shop and spend their
money.
Why are ratings so important?
Ratings
will drive people to your business. You will appear first in search
results above businesses who are not rated. Ratings can influence
browsers to chose you over competitiors, converting a browser into a
customer.
