This place at Kroad is so awesome! My partner and I brought over a dress and a couple of pants which we thought were impossible to fix. The lady at the shop looked at it, got my partner to try the dress on, and told us to come back the next day. We were absolutely stoked with the quality of her work. It was definitely spot on, she made the impossible - possible. I will definitely recommend her to people who I know. Her location at Kroad and late nights also makes it very easy for us to drop things off for alterations. My partner and I are getting married next year, and she is also getting her wedding grown from Kei Kei studio, because we know that she would be able to alter it to suit. so thanks!

Great work by this girl. I usually drive all the way from the 'burbs to get my clothing altered by her. I first came around based on the recommendation of this jeans outlet store. At first I was a bit dubious as she charged me so little for shortening my jeans.. with original hem, too! But I was pleasantly surprised and I have been coming around ever since. She has also done a good job on my other clothing. I have also been recommending her to people at work. I am sure they are also as equally satisfied. Too bad about the other reviews, but from my experience, they sound very much like an exception rather than the norm!

I would not recommend this place at all - I have been there so many times as she was my local but she seems to not listen to my request or measure properly and sure enough the end results have been terrible bad: pants taken in in the wrong place and not the right length and the quality of work on the skirts and dresses I needed taking up was very bad. Definitely try somewhere else before you go here.

Kei Kei Studio is the best alteration place I've ever been to in Auckland CBD and have always been for the last 3 years. The quality of work is excellent, their zip changing skills is immaculate, the zip I got changed on my favourite Jacket is awesome and very smooth this week as they use YKK zippers (they said it is a well-known brand for zippers, I wouldnt have known otherwise) Shortening of Jeans is only $11 for a original hem kept which you can usually pick up the next day. My fiance got her secret wedding dress custom-maded for her from Kei Kei Studio just before Christmas and she seemed wrapped and very excited!...she said it fitted her perfectly and exactly what she has dreamed of! (Girls..I will see it on our big day) so yes, they are great - highly recommend it to anybody. Their opening hours are abit funny though, open from 12noon to 6pm at night mon to saturday so I usually go after work or lunch breaks.

Would not recomend to anybody. Got a zip replaced wich ended up in a disaster. The quality was very poor! What a waist of time!

Katie is quick and very well priced, $6 for a basic trouser hem, you cant really beat that can you? usually same day or next day service and the work is immaculate. I would highly recommend her to all.
